These lovely mushroom ceramic bottles are unique blends of handsculpted mushrooms and detailed surface work. These tall and skinny containers are a grand addition to your shelf, desk, or table!

Made from white midfire stoneware, these pieces were thrown, hand carved, and decorated with colored slip. The mushrooms atop them were hand-sculpted and attached, before they were fired. After that, it was glazed with a transparent, food safe glaze before being fired for a second time.

The ceramics in this set are inspired by mushrooms, and the forests they inhabit. While the main focus of the set was on sculpture, this collection also explored a more minimal application of colored slips, while experimenting with brushstrokes and texture.
