Tree Silhouette Tealight Votive

$25.00
sold out
This little candle holder channels the great outdoors, with a cutout of the trees at dusk, as the light starts to fade. A cozy addition to your table, shelf, altar, bathtub sill, or held in your hands as you wander through the dark.

Made from white midfire stoneware, this piece was thrown, hand carved, and decorated with colored slip, before being fired. After that, it was glazed with a transparent, food safe glaze before being fired for a second time.

The ceramics in this set are one of a kind, inspired by sunsets and the sky. An exploration in color and light, the work in this set further experiments with the application of colored slip, building up layers of colors to emulate the colors and feel of dusk.
